Feeling a little overwhelmed with all of the holiday parties? Me too. And I've got quite a few to attend this year. Sure you could bring something healthy, but everyone really just goes for the desserts. So I've rounded up a few cookie recipes that would be prefect for your office holiday party or cookie swaps with friends.

Say that five times fast. Cherry + almond + shortbread. Perfection.

The kids will get a kick out of these. And they have the perfect razzle dazzle to show up all of the other cookies.

Don't be daunted by these crispy little darlings. They're quite easy to make. Add in some mouse or dip in some melted chocolate to finish.

Soft and chewy on the inside, a little bit of crisp on the outside. Yum, yum, yum.

This recipes dates back all the way to early 1900. From England. And with a solid pound of butter, you know these are going to be delicious.

Chewy and thin, the malt powder is the power horse in these cookies.

Is it a cookie? Is it a brownie? It's the best of both worlds! And don't forget the flaked salt at the end.

Pecans, caramel and chocolate. Is there really anything else you need? Nope.

Can't wait to try some of these recipes. I'll keep you guys posted on results.

Happy baking!
