December Daily | 2019 - Day 1

It's here! Happy December!

As you can see, I totally changed up my opening page (which I knew I would) and ended up using one of the large Kelly Purkey cardstock pages. This page was originally further along in my album so I'll end up putting something else in it's place.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the white 2019 onto some patterned white cardstock that I picked up from Michael's last week. Keeping it on the simple side, I only added a few die cuts from the main kit. (You can see my December Daily foundation pages post here.)

One of the holiday traditions I started a few years ago was letting the kids each pick out a new ornament to add to the tree. I knew I wanted to add that story to my album so I took a photo of the ornaments we chose and then added some text in Photoshop.

I printed it out on photo paper and added to the back of the first page, along with some gold foil star vellum. Again, wanting to keep this page from getting too busy, I only added the date die cut, along with a few others. The Hello Traditions is an older Ali Edwards digital.

I still need to add journaling to the gift wrap 3x8 but I love how it turned out so far. Also, Michael's is having a sale on gift wrap. And the app has a 40% off coupon. You're welcome.

For the back of the 3x8 I added a card from In A Creative Bubble from last year.

These ornament organizer bins have been a lifesaver. I only need about 4 more. After dragging everything out of the closet, I snapped a photo of the top tier. I reused some of the gold star vellum and a sticker for the top pocket. The right pocket is a combination of two stamps from Everyday Explorers Co. (All new holiday stamps are coming out next week!)

My Thanksgiving cacti started blooming early last week and they're still going strong!

Can you tell I really like that gold star vellum? The right top pocket is another two stamp mash-up from Everyday Explorers Co.

After dropping the kids off Sunday afternoon, Rick and I bummed around the house and then decided to head to bed early and watch The Irishman on Netflix. I didn't realize the movie was three and a half hours long. It's more of a slow burn but SO worth it.
