Reading Recap | July 2020

Man, it feels good to be on a reading kick again! I managed six books in July and started on a seventh. There's still quite a few that I started reading and never finished so those are up next. Here's what I read last month.

I'm on another Mark Edwards kick. I finished Here to Stay and enjoyed Mark's writing style so I was happy to find two more that I enjoyed. Both had me guessing right up until the end. I was for sure certain that I had figured out the plot on both books, but he proved me very wrong. Will definitely be adding more of his books to my TBR list. If you've got an Amazon Prime membership, you can download these two for free!

Holy shit. Go buy this book. Read it. Go ahead, I'll wait. Holy shit, right? Same. I had seen this on my IG feed a while ago and I'm so glad I decided to give it a try.

This one is book 3 from the Maggie Novak series. Sidenote: I went to school for criminal justice and for a long time I wanted to be a homicide detective. This series is right up my alley. Well written and had me guessing right up until the end. Can't wait for the next book.

This one is book 4 from the Stillhouse Lake series. I love when a new book in a series comes out. It's like meeting up with some friends you haven't talked to in a while. This one jumped right back into the action from the past few books.

The Whisper Man was the first of Alex's books that I read (also a BOTM pick) I enjoyed this one as much as the last and can't wait to see if his name pops up as an option for future BOTM picks. Twisty and creepy all in one.
