Sahin Designs | Grace Collection | Video

Happy Sunday! I'm back with another version of the half circle layered template from the In The Background No. 3 set from Designed by Soco. I've used it in conjunction with the Grace Collection from Sahin Designs. The alpha is from the Lazy Days set from Pink Reptile Designs. And there's a walk through video! I know, finally. 

After some audio and uploading issues late last night, I finally got everything to work this morning. Please excuse the background music. My mic is on the way so I tried to pick out some fun, upbeat tunes so you didn't fall asleep while watching the video.

For every layout I create the first step is to open any photos I want to use and edit them. That could mean cropping, tweaking the coloring or maybe adding some filters. This photo was taken as we were leaving Lilly's dance recital. The background had some brighter cars in the background as well as the giant bright yellow crossing area on the road so I ended up changing the background to black and white so I didn't have too many contrasting colors.

I also like to go through the kit I'm using and pick out any elements or cards I think I might want to use and go ahead and open those. I always add all of the papers to my photo bin so they're handy. Then it's just moving things around to see where they fit and then adding some journaling.
