The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah (BOTM)

Oh man, I don't know why I waited so long to read this. As someone who used to live in Alaska, this brought back so many memories for me. Kristin does it again, as she does book after book. Totally sucked in and devoured this one in about two days. I found myself wanting to put it down so it wouldn't end but also wanting to find out what happens.

Heartbreak Bay by Rachel Caine

So sad to hear that Rachel passed away last year from cancer. I absolutely love her Stillhouse Lake series (this is book #5) and had no idea she had even written this one. A nice little surprise. Heartbreak Bay follows Gwen and the gang for another murder mystery that almost results in a few more killings. A page turned right up until the end.

The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave (BOTM)

This one surprised me. I tend to like tidy little endings and while this one finished well (albeit a little open) I was ok with it. The story was well written and had me guessing throughout.

The Hunting Wives by May Cobb (BOTM)

I was afraid this was going to be a book about a bunch of catty rich housewives but man was I wrong. Well, some of them are rich. And can be catty. But so much more. Another murder mystery that sucked me in.
