Week In The Life | 2020 | Wednesday

Hello, Wednesday!

We're now half way through this project and we all seem to be going strong. Give yourself a pat on the back.

These dividers are on point with the details. Love these little white stars.

I've been thinking about making some for my 6x12 Project Life album.

I got my ass up early and went down to the trails for a walk this morning. I ran into a total of three people and one dog and pretty much had the whole trail to myself. Just what I needed to start the day.

Keeping with my WITL template, I added the photo grid template from Shannan Pages on the left and a photo, card from the kit and my journaling on the right.

I've been adding the weather, a top story headline from that day, what we had for dinner and something great that happened. The leftover squares get filled with photos I took throughout the day.

It was a little chilly when I got up so I stopped at the Dunks down the street for some tea to keep my hands warm while I walked. It definitely helped. Since I don't have a typewriter, I typed out my journaling and printed it on some photo paper. Once it was trimmed down, I added some washi to the top and used my tape runner to adhere it in place.

I'm a huge fan of panoramic photos in albums. Although they work much better in 12x12 albums, I think I managed to pull this one off nicely.

Anyone else feel like I'll they've done all week is dishes? Same, girl. Same.
The floral card and chipboard piece came from an older Studio Calico kit.

The phone usually slow down after lunch so you can usually find me on the couch reading or playing games on my phone. I snagged this photo as I was fighting to stay awake.

The new season of Someone Knows Something is out and I am so. freaking. excited. I've been listening since Season 1 and have been hooked ever since. They're narrated my David Ridgen, an investigative reporter for the CBC. He's got one of those soothing voices that you expect to hear on an app like Calm. After dinner I suggested a movie and (surprisingly) Rick had never seen the Birdcage so we ended up watching that. Man, I miss Robin Williams.

I decided to add another flip up card so I used the screenshot from the podcast, a polka dot card from Studio Calico and a journaling card from the Right Now set from In A Creative Bubble. The tend to flop around when I turn the pages but I don't really mind.

I've been thinking about doing a walk-through video when I get done so stay tuned for that.

How else is everyone doing? Still excited to be working on your album?

  1. Came across your blog by doing a Week in the Life search on Google. Love how you are keeping it simple, using components from the AE kit but also working in other scrapbooking elements. Simply love it and so colourful! Plus, that panoramic picture looks amazing! Can't wait to see the remainder of the week.
