Hey there, Project Life!
And yes, you read that correctly. Week 2. As in, from January. My old printer wasn't printing colors correctly and I didn't have the extra couple hundred to shell out on a new one so I stopped doing any sort of physical scrabooking for months.
Two months ago I bit the bullet and found an older new wide format printer on Amazon for just over $200 and jumped on it. I've spent the past two months going through photos, printing them, adding journaling cards and going through my past SC & AE kits to fill in the pockets. I'm almost caught up. Just a few things I want to print on vellum and I'm done. Whew. It's a huge relief and one I didn't think I'd accomplish.
Back in early January. we were still in Massachusetts and I was hooked on making granny squares. (I still have them packed up and will probably bring them back out this fall to join together into a blanket) I love the January kit from Studio Calico. The colors were amazing and the chipboard stickers were spot on. A perfect way to start the new year.
I finished The Sun Down Motel (definitely recommend) so I added the cover in the top left corner. The Everyday Stories card is from In A Creative Bubble's Recorded Journaling Cards No. 7. I love Geralyn's stuff and use her cards quite heavily in my albums.
Here's a close up of the star card (my favorite) and one of the chipboard stickers.
Here's three more IACB journaling cards; Love List (Recorded Journaling Card No. 7), Yes (Recorded Journaling Cards No. 5) & Delicious card (Recorded Journaling Cards No. 7)
I'll be posting more of my 220 Project Life album soon. Stay tuned & Happy Scrapping!
