Reading Recap | February 2019

The Lost Boy by Camilla Lackberg ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the first book by Lackberg that I had read and I'm glad to see not only is it one out of a series, but she also has another series as well. This was a great read that had a lot of twists and an ending I definitely didn't expect. If you like murder mysteries, give this one a try.

A Woman Is No Man by Etaf Rum (BOTM) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rum's debut novel was amazing and heartbreaking and a page turner all in one. A lot of flipping back and forth between present and past characters kept the flow perfectly.

Sweet Little Lies by Caz Frear (BOTM) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was definitely a page turner with a lot of twists and turns. I definitely want to read more of her stuff. Just found out that her next novel, Stone Cold Heart, will be released July 2nd and you can pre-order it here.

I'm a huge fan of Patricia Cornwell, especially the Kay Scrapetta series. This one is book #17 in the series and stars all the usual characters in the series. I've picked this book up and put it down numerous times so hopefully I'll get through it this time.

It's the first of the month so that means new books! I chose Before She Knew Him by Peter Swanson for my March pick for BOTM. It sounds really, really good. I love a great psychological thriller so I'm super excited for this one.
